Known especially for his cabaret piano in NYC, Brad Simmons brings his own interpretations of the music of James Taylor, Dolly Parton, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, John Denver, Dan Fogelberg and Billy Joel among others to life with his musical whit and velvet tenor voice.
From massive symphony halls to intimate nightclubs, Brad Simmons has shared the stage with Broadway luminaries Alice Ripley, Tonya Pinkins, Beth Leavel, Carole Cook, Donna McKechnie and recording legends Sandi Patty and The B-52s Kate Pierson.
Brad Simmons is known as “The Pianist” in the film Camp and labeled “The Man” by NPR. His conductor credits include Lysistrata Jones (on and off Broadway); Mr & Mrs Fitch with John Lithgow; Me and the Girls with Alan Cumming; To Wong Foo (UK World Premiere); and the musical film Hello Again with Audra McDonald, Martha Plimpton, and Cheyenne Jackson. Upcoming productions include Star-Spangled, Hello: The Music of Lionel Richie, and the Robin Hood musical HOOD (Broadway 2025). His recordings include Dreamworld, Mundane Existence, Silent Night, New Music for The End of The World, The Simon + Garfunkel Collection, the Lysistrata Jones OBC and live recordings of his cabaret shows Troubadour and Words + Music. Upcoming music releases include Learning To Fly: The Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty Collection and his new songwriter album Thoughts & Prayers.
