Savor the sophisticated sounds of pianist Emile Pandolfi , along with radiant vocalist Dana Russell, as they bring piano, passion, emotion, bewitching arrangements of beautiful ballads, rich and sumptuous medleys, musical memories, comedic monologue and more to our Outer Banks “living room.”
A performing arts mainstay, Emile fi rst began to study piano at The Third Street Music Settlement in Manhattan. He made his orchestral debut in his hometown, performing with the Greenville, South Carolina, Symphony Orchestra at only 14!
After earning a piano performance degree from Baylor University, Emile mixed his classical technique with pop standards, Broadway classics and light jazz. Over the years, he played in the Virgin Islands, England, Denver and Los Angeles, including a six-year stint at the Comedy Store. Emile toured the United States and Australia before settling in Greenville to raise his family. Since then, he has performed around the country, drawing from his own Americana songbook, pop, and Broadway hits. It has been said that even the piano is happy after an evening with Emile.
Featured vocalist Dana Russell is a Greenville, South Carolina native, and began her first serious vocal training at The Fine Arts Center and then at Columbia College. Following graduation, she moved to New York, where she won leading roles in shows such as Showboat (Julie), The Fantastiks (Louisa), Sweeney Todd (Joanna and the Beggar Woman), West Side Story (Maria) and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well in Paris.
